Formally established in 2016, Wolf Puppy Media is an independent producer of films and digital media appealing to under-served audiences. As a private company, Wolf Puppy's first production is a feature film based upon author Cade Jay Hathaway's popular Happy Endings Sleepover series of novels.

Happy Endings Sleepover has completed production, ready for release in 2019.

In early 2014 a debut novel intended for the gay young adult market, Happy Endings Sleepover, became a surprise bestseller in a genre that, as author Cade Jay Hathaway likes to say, "...is about as easy for publishers to sell as poetry! NOTE: Poetry doesn't sell very well!"

    

But that changed with its release and the many excellent reviews received from book critics. The matter-of-fact way in which the stories depict the lives of Johnnie and Sander has even garnered the books a 'straight' readership following.

    

The tales of European espionage in a time of terrorism are exciting to readers of the series. The fact that the protagonists happen to be gay is just more information in the character development. Reviews from critics and readers alike seem to echo the viewpoint that Hathaway "puts them in the room" anywhere the story takes place.

    

The fact that the screenplay was also written by the book's  author is another attraction for fans of the series. The script is all the better owing to the fact that Cade Jay Hathaway wrote it. So, with such a skilled creative team, the filming of Happy Endings Sleepover is a first-rate adaptation that audiences will appreciate and enjoy.
